Morning Club
Our Morning club is available daily on the school site and is led by Mrs Newman and Mrs Nurton.
At Morning Club, children will receive breakfast (toast, cereals and drink) and will have a wide range of activities to choose from before starting the school day.
Our Morning Club provision is available each day from 7.30-8.40am at a cost of £6.50 per day.
Morning Club is based in the cabin and children must be dropped off at the cabin by their parent/carer.

We are delighted to be have The as our official 'After School Club' provider at St Michael's starting in January. We are pleased to be able to offer this high quality provision to our families; providing onsite the additional child care support and extra flexibility that is needed.

Structured Activities: Each session includes thoughtfully planned activities designed to promote learning, creativity, and physical development. From art and craft projects to team sports and educational games, our structured approach encourages children to try new things, build skills, and grow their confidence.
Child-Led Opportunities: We value the importance of free play and giving children the space to explore their own interests. By providing a range of engaging resources and a supportive environment, we empower children to shape their own experiences, fostering independence, imagination, and social interaction.

After-School Club
Our After-School Club offers a variety of creative, educational, and active play opportunities to suit every interest. From sports and crafts to homework support and quiet time, we provide a space where children can unwind after the school day.
Children attending The Den are offered a nutritious and substantial afternoon snack upon arrival, to help fill the gap between school lunch and dinner at home. Menus change daily, but children can look forward to wraps, bagels, crumpets, cheese, ham, tuna, pasta and sauce, vegetable sticks, fresh fruit, and yoghurt.

At The Den, we believe in creating meaningful experiences that leave children excited to return and parents reassured that their children are cared for by trusted professionals.
Full Session: £15.00 per child
A full session starts at 3.15pm and ends at 6.00pm.
Half Session: £8.50 per child
Two half session options are available for families to select:
Early Half Session – 3.15pm to 4.30pm. This session is ideal for families who have one child in an after-school sports club and need care for a sibling to enable a single collection from school.
Late Half Session – 4.15pm to 6.00pm. This session is for children who attend an after-school sports club and needs care afterwards.
Children who are booked in for either the Full Session or the Late Half Session can be collected at any time up to 6.00pm.
