St. Michael's C of E Primary School won 'School of the Year' in the 2017 Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards

The School of the Year award looks for schools that have performed exceptionally well in providing an effective and engaging learning environment for their children. Our region is highly successful in education and we believe it is critical to continue to push our academic success forward, and this award recognises those schools which are doing just that and creating a real sense of pride for the area.

Welcome to St Michael's Primary School

We are so proud of our school, where our children rise to the challenges that school and life presents them with, always striving to be the very best they can be.  Our school is alive with the buzz of learning, where there are no ceilings to what can be achieved.  Our children are resilient, aspirational learners, who are encouraged, supported and nurtured through their educational journey at St. Michael’s.

St Michael's (a Church of England Voluntary Aided primary school and part of the Diocese of Oxford) is the oldest school in Sandhurst, comprising seven classes and a dedicated team of staff who teach our children across the primary age range. With one class per year group (our class sizes are 30 in the Infants and up to 32 in the Juniors), we offer a rich and varied curriculum, designed to stimulate our children to become independent learners who love walking through the school doors each morning. Our traditional Victorian building, adapted to meet the needs of modern school life, is in an attractive location in Sandhurst, where we are able to make good use of the nearby woods and lake. Our school field is a short distance away, where the children enjoy PE lessons, sports matches and Sports Day.

Feel free to explore our website, where you will find information about each class, events going on in the school and other useful information.  You are most welcome to visit St Michael's, where our children will be happy to guide you round and share their experiences of school with you.
