School Uniform

Please encourage the children to wear their uniform with pride – we are proud of our school and we want all of our children to share in that pride.

Uniform

In order to maintain a strong sense of identity and belonging within our school, we require all pupils to wear school uniform which consists of:

  • Navy jumper/cardigan with school logo
  • White shirt (short sleeve or long sleeve)
  • Charcoal grey trousers, charcoal grey shorts or navy skirt/pinafore
  • Grey socks with grey trousers; blue socks/tights with navy skirt/pinafore
  • School tie
  • Black, flat, safe & sensible shoes (trainers should not be worn).

In the summer term:

  • As above but we recommend that the white shirts are short sleeve shirts for the summer term.
  • Children may choose to wear a light blue checked dress with white socks.
  • Navy Blue cap for sun protection
  • We will advise the children to take off their ties when necessary. If sustained hot weather is forecast, we will advise families that ties are not required for a period of time.

PE Kit:

  • Navy polo shirt with logo
  • Navy Blue shorts
  • White socks
  • Navy PE sweatshirt
  • Plimsolls for indoor PE; trainers may also be worn

Swimming: swimming shorts (boys) or one piece costume (girls), towel, goggles (if required).
All children with long hair will also need a swimming hat.

Additional Guidance

  • In the interests of hygiene and safety, long hair should always be tied back.
  • ‘Extreme’ hairstyles are not allowed.
  • The wearing of jewellery is not allowed, except for stud earrings and a watch (no smart watches). Any child wearing inappropriate jewellery will be asked to remove it and it will be safely stored until home time.
  • All jewellery must be removed for PE and games. Children must remove their own earrings.
