Mental Health

Designated Mental Health Lead

Mrs Kay Fawkes is our Designated Mental Health Lead at St Michael's CE Primary School and is supported by Mrs Keren Milanovic, who is our SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) and Mrs Diane Miller, our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant). If you have concerns about your child’s mental health or wellbeing, please consult your child’s class teacher or speak to the school office to arrange a meeting or a phone call.

 

Mental Health and Wellbeing at St. Michael’s CE Primary School

At St Michael's CE Primary School, we are committed to promoting and maintaining the mental health and wellbeing of our children, staff and their families. Through our TALK initiative, World Mental Health Days and PSHE /RSE curriculum, we aim to provide pupils with the tools and language to be able to talk about their mental health, ask for help and access the resources and organisations available to them.

Drop in Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub

Twice a term, the children in Years 4, 5 and 6 are invited to pop into Mrs Fawkes' classroom to discuss any concerns or worries they have.
