Welcome to St Michael's CE Primary School
We are so proud of our school, where our children rise to the challenges that school and life presents them with, always striving to be the very best they can be. Our school is alive with the buzz of learning, where there are no ceilings to what can be achieved. Our children are resilient, aspirational learners, who are encouraged, supported and nurtured through their educational journey at St. Michael’s. Each day, we live out Christian values and foster supportive and trusting relationships; welcoming and valuing all members of the community and beyond.
St Michael's (a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School and part of the Diocese of Oxford) is the oldest school in Sandhurst, comprising seven classes and a dedicated team of staff who teach our children across the primary age range. With one class per year group (our class sizes are 30 in the Infants and up to 32 in the Juniors), we offer a rich and varied curriculum, designed to stimulate our children to become independent learners who love walking through the school doors each morning. Our traditional Victorian building, adapted to meet the needs of modern school life, is in an attractive location in Sandhurst, where we are able to make use of the nearby woods and lake. Our school field is a short distance away, where the children enjoy PE lessons and sporting events. We are very proud to have been recognised for our extra-curricular provisions by being awarded the Get Berkshire Active Primary School of the Year Award in 2018.
Feel free to explore our website, where you will find information about each class, events going on in the school and other useful information. You are most welcome to visit St Michael's, where our children will be happy to guide you round and share their experiences of school with you. To book a visit please contact the school office.
